Our Farm
In November 2024, we moved to our heavily wooded 10-acre property with no prior farming experience, just a passion for learning, plenty of research, and a small patio garden as our starting point. Our small homestead is just starting out but everything we do is rooted in care, care for our birds, our land, and the families and pets we serve.
Our birds roam and grow in a stress free, healthy environment, each one receiving the attention and respect they deserve. Raised for human consumption, they are raised organically, with a high quality natural feed, without corn or soy.
Eggs are collected by hand twice a day. Our chickens are moved to fresh pasture weekly, and our quail enjoy daily access to fresh, natural forage. Every animal on our farm, even those raised for meat, is deeply cared for and loved. Keeping our farm small and intentional allows us to focus on what truly matters: the well-being of our birds and providing eggs and meat that reflect the care, attention, and compassion we put into every day.
Sharing our farm with you means sharing our values: transparency, integrity, and respect for the animals in our care. We’re proud to provide nutritious, thoughtfully made treats you can feel good feeding to your pets.

Quail
We began raising quail as a fast, sustainable source of protein. Quail mature quickly and efficiently while providing wholesome eggs and meat. Our current covey includes Pearl Fees and Jumbo Browns.
Our breeding program is just getting started, but we are committed to raising birds with excellent temperament, health, resilience, and natural productivity. Every bird is raised with love, a process sometimes considered “too soft” for homesteading, but one we embrace. It requires extra effort, both physically and emotionally, but it ensures we produce food we can be proud of. Our goal is a covey that thrives in both health and character.

Chickens
Raising chickens has always been a dream of mine, and the very first thing I did after moving to our farm was start our flock. Our Orpingtons, Ameraucanas, Marans, and Barnevelders roam freely on fresh pasture, enjoying sunshine, forage, and lots of attention. They’re truly spoiled, in the best way!
We’re proud of the eggs they give us: rich, naturally golden yolks with no feed boosters, just sunshine and happy hens. These eggs are not only a daily joy for our family but also go into our Mitten Variety Treats!
